Just because the models back in 2015 did not accurately depict climate does not mean that CO2 contributions by man play no role in climate change. He is guilty of omission. A more fair assessment is that we don't have the models correct as of yet, but that "Contributions to CO2 concentration by man COULD very well be responsible". That is an admission that was left out of the discussion. Christy is basically saying, because we can't solve it all, we must doubt it all. Dishonest on his behalf. A better presentation of the data would be that, yes, man made co2 could be contributing to a degree that needs acknowledging. We just don't have the hard proof yet. Another point, it is true that if all activity stopped in the US the reflection on climate would be small, but that's because the climate is a culmination of *past* emissions, not future emissions. If all human activity stopped than the climate would not change drastically for hundreds, possibly thousands of years. The point is the more CO2 we pump out, the more unstable the climate will become for the long haul. Extremely complicated matters, not well suited for the simple minded. Well he is abskolutely wrong about climate models. Perhaps he was cherry picking the lousy ones. In any case, hindcasting of the newer models have produced better calibration. In any case, no models can predict the anomalous heating without addition of anthropogenic CO2.

Contrary to what many folks believe, that 97 percent of scientists agree with the environmental agenda. If you do the research, it is 97 percent of a much smaller percentage of respondents. A large percentage had no comment one way or the other. Climate change is real, but will happen anyway even if man never existed. The CO2 emissions being detrimental to the environment is not a universal opinion among scientists. The more research one does, the more one discovers that the current environmental agenda that is being pushed is not necessarily as it is being presented. Consider all of the other (way more than 3 percent) of scientists who disagree with the current political environmental agenda and the effects on the planet. You have to look for it because it is being depressed. Yeah, that is a whole separate topic.
